London. Young Vivian Vedder takes her coffin with her newly deceased mother by train to Scotland. Also on the train is Lady Margaret, owner of the famous Rhodesia star diamond. Sherlock Holmes is in charge of protecting the precious stone. Shortly after the journey begins, a man is found killed and the diamond is stolen. Holmes and Watson begin their investigation by questioning the passengers.
